Hello and a warm welcome to our website. Whether
you are a prospective, current or former student,
parent, teacher, governor or simply someone
who is curious about Alderbrook, we hope that
you find the site to be interesting and informative,
giving you a taste of what our school is about.
Alderbrook is an exciting, vibrant and caring
place for young people to learn and develop
academically, socially and personally. We
are extremely proud of our students' achievements,
within as well as beyond the classroom and
see our young people as great ambassadors
for our school.
Perhaps our mission statement best sums up what we are all striving to achieve here:
Our purpose is to provide a high quality, inclusive education which will support, challenge and inspire children, enabling them to succeed and mature, to fulfil their potential and to become lifelong learners.
My best wishes to you,
William Sedgwick

It is our privilege to represent Alderbrook School as the newly appointed Head Boy and Girl. Personally, we have both loved the past four years and are confident that new students will share our enthusiasm for school. Alderbrook is a thriving community
with a welcoming and bubbly atmosphere. This positive learning environment reflects upon the teaching staff and the effort they put in to supporting and developing the pupils in their transitions into young men and women. Our school offers a wide range of extra curricular activities providing a variety of opportunities that are available to everyone, this allows the pupils to challenge themselves, enhance their abilities and become involved
in something they feel passionate about. Feel free to browse the various pages of the website so you can get a real insight into our school.
