Welcome
to Alderbrook School
Hello and a warm welcome to our website. Whether
you are a prospective, current or former student,
parent, teacher, governor or simply someone
who is curious about Alderbrook, we hope that
you find the site to be interesting and informative,
giving you a taste of what our school is about.
Alderbrook is an exciting, vibrant and caring
place for young people to learn and develop
academically, socially and personally. We
are extremely proud of our students' achievements,
within as well as beyond the classroom and
see our young people as great ambassadors
for our school.
Perhaps our mission statement best sums up what we are all striving to achieve here:
Our purpose is to provide a high quality, inclusive education which will support, challenge and inspire children, enabling them to succeed and mature, to fulfil their potential and to become lifelong learners.
My best wishes to you,
William Sedgwick

As Head Boy and Girl we are very privileged to represent Alderbrook School for the academic year 2011-2012. Throughout our time at Alderbrook we have been offered many opportunities, which are both challenging yet rewarding. Our skills have been developed and our knowledge widened to the extent that we are confident, that we along with the pupils of Alderbrook, will excel in the future. We will do our best to ensure that every pupil will have equal opportunities and enjoy the experience of Alderbrook life, just as we have. At Alderbrook there is something for everyone and we can assure you that any pupil will find it easy to settle into and progress in the ‘Alderbrook way of life’.
