Alderbrook
School - Contact Options
Alderbrook School has upgraded its telephone system. All extension numbers are now prefixed with the number 7. For example extension 123 is now extension 7123.
To report a pupil absence please telephone 0121 704 2146 and follow the automated instructions, or email absence@alderbrook.solihull.sch.uk and leave a message detailing your child’s name, form and reason for absence and anticipated length of absence. Pupil absences must be reported on each day of an absence and confirmed by letter on their return to school. For the safety of your child we will endevour to text you if your child is absent from school and we have not heard from you.
From September pupils will not be permitted to use the school’s main reception. This will be an area for parents and visitors to the school. When collecting your child for a medical appointment etc. please arrange to meet them outside Cartwright Hall as this enables you to stop easily and the pupils to shelter if there is inclement weather.
Pupils have their own separate reception area but for the safety of all pupils, parents are not allowed access to this area. However if parents have a need to visit the school please use the main reception.
Parents must not, because of Health and Safety, wander around the school.
To arrange or discuss hiring and letting of school buildings and facilities, please contact Alderbrook on 0121 704 2146 ext 7215 during office hours or 07833177746 at other times or during school holidays.
In September we will be collecting e-mail addresses for parents and hope soon to have the facility to email letters to groups of parents for a variety of reasons e.g. trip letters, parents evening.
